Bidding Opportunities

BiddingOpps.com portal lists RFPs for Large Projects and Supplies World-Wide. If the estimated cost of your project or supply requirement is $100,000 and above, list your RFP here for maximum exposure to prospective bidders. In addition, your RFP will be mailed to hundreds of qualified bidders who have subscribed to receive this information. Listing is free for the present.

Registration

To make listings on the site and use its other features you need to register. It only takes a minute or so to complete the registration. As soon as you fill-up the registration form and click Register, an e-mail is sent asking you to verify your e-mail address. The e-mail contains a link which you need to click or copy and paste in your browser address bar. Once done, you are verified and your registration is enabled.

Subscribing for RFPs

Should you wish to receive notifications of new RFPs posted on the site in your selected categories, you too need to register at the site and then ask the Site Administrator to activate your Subscription Account. Within your account there are links to subscribe and unsubscribe for RFPs in your selected categories. This service too is currently offered free.

Member Login

Your e-mail address is your login ID which, along with your password you selected while registering, will enable you to get access to the Member's Area of the site. From here you can create a new listing, upload pictures to your listings, edit existing ones and subscribe or unsubscribe for RFPs in your selected categories. You can change your password if you so wish and update your preferences for newsletter and e-mail address.

Listing Submission

Listings are made free of cost for the present. When you wish to create a new listing, login to the Member's Area via the User Login link at the top. Inside, click on the link New Listing in the left side menu. This will bring you to the category selection page. Select a category most appropriate to your listing. As soon as you do, you will be taken to the listing form. You can always go back and select another category if you made an incorrect choice. Category headings convey broad meaning as to the type of listing.

Please fill-up the Budget starting with the $ or other currency sign. The date format used is e.g. Dec 31, 2007. Once you have submitted the form, you may upload upto 5 pictures related to your listing - gif or jpg format. The submitted listing remains hidden from the public until the Site Administrator approves it. Approvals take about 24 hours. Do not use all caps in the listing title.

Listing Searches

While one can browse through the listings by category, people often search with keywords. The keyword based searches are confined to words appearing in the Title and Description boxes. So keep in mind while creating your listing to include keywords for which you would like your listing to be found by others.

Favorites Link

At the bottom of the detailed information page is the link to bookmark, Add-to-Favorites, RFPs you wish to note down to attend later. To use this feature you must be a registered user at the site and logged-in. Click on Add-to-Favorites link to bookmark any RFP. Links to bookmarked RFPs can be seen inside your Member Area from the Favorites link in the left-side menu. If you wish to delete any bookmark, click on the bookmarked RFP link - you will see that the bottom of the detailed information page is now showing Remove-from-Favorites. Click on the remove link to remove the bookmark for this RFP.

Listing Duration

Listings are made for One Month (30 days) or Two Months (60 days) or Three Months (90 days), at a time. One week before expiry, you will be sent an e-mail about this. You can re-list if required. You can edit and update your listing anytime and as many times as necessary. However, every time you update it, it will have to wait for the Site Administrator's approval before being visible again on the site. You can certainly delete it if the listing is no longer required.

Site Navigation

We have tried to keep the navigation of the site as simple and intuitive as possible. The links at the top will appear on all pages enabling you to go to any of these pages from anywhere on the site. The detailed listing page has the links to contact the person making the listing, tell-a-friend about a listing, print it, and more. The name on the header is linked to the Home Page and clicking on it will bring you to the front page from anywhere on the site. Listing stats are shown on the detailed listing page. In addition, your Member Area will have information on the number of people who contacted you via the contact form, the total number of listings and views. Do give your suggestions on improvement - it will be appreciated.

Privacy Policy

Information Collected

We require your name, organization name, e-mail, telephone number and address to be submitted while registering and may be published with your listing on our site so that those interested can contact you. We may communicate with you occasionally in connection with the services provided by us.

Sharing Information

We do not share information with third parties. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.

Business Transition

In the event BiddingOpps.com in goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post the changes here so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.
